Netflix Review – ‘Love is Blind’

There’s this show on Netflix called ‘Love Is Blind’.

They place what appear to me to be incredibly mentally compromised people in boxes where they can talk to members of the opposite sex through the wall between their respective boxes.
Without seeing them, they’re supposed to find someone to marry based on their connection alone.

Here’s Joe’s ‘Heads Up Clue’ for you all.
No one should marry ANYONE who would consider this as an option for their lives.
From the short amount of this that I’ve seen, it’s abundantly clear that these are wildly dysfunctional types.

Now, the point here is to examine whether or not people will still want the person once they see them – will the ‘connection’ still be as profound?

But the problem is…no one here is fundamentally unattractive.
These are mostly good looking women who are tired of being ‘played’, or who as I already said, are clearly so dysfunctional that no one wants them.

The men?
Well, I think I’ve seen all of them crying at some point already.
Crying. About the chicks they’re talking to through the wall whom they’ve known for like…72 hours.
You do the math on these guys.

This show *might* be mildly interesting if you made this amazing connection with someone, and then they open the door and there’s a buckled Snorlax staring at you.

I would have named it ‘Losers In Boxes’.
And from what I’ve seen of these people….they still would have been happy to be on the show.

This was JUST brought to my attention last night, but you may have seen it before. Imagine a town so bereft of anything culturally relevant, that a Dunkin' DoNITS being temporarily closed could cause this...
