If you go to Rotten Tomatoes, you'll see the critics have this film at 60% and the audience has it at 21%. In this case, I think the critics are a bit too high, and the audience dramatically too low. I'd...

Again and Again and Again and Again…
Again and Again and Again and Again…
Kevin Smith suggested that everyone do something creative today in honor of those who lost their lives in the mass shootings over this last week. Well, I don’t much feel like drawing because I’m disgusted…we aren’t podcasting until tomorrow, and so I thought I’d put down my thoughts about all of this…
Barack Obama was the first black President, and as a result, was naturally the first President to express points of view from a black man’s perspective.
What immediately comes to mind is “Trayvon could have been my son.”.
Now for the sane amongst us, this was in recognition of the fact that here was a young black man, minding his own business, walking home from a store – wanted for nothing, fitting the description of no perpetrator as no crime had been reported, and yet a wannabe ‘law-man’ acting with no authority zeroed in on him, pursued him in the dark of night, and engaged in behavior that would act as catalyst to events that would lead to him murdering Trayvon.
For President Obama daring to suggest that the young man could have easily been his own son, we were met with memes filled with the mugshots of gangbangers who’d committed heinous crimes, with the commentary “More of Obama’s Sons!”. We were treated to pictures of rapper The Game; body covered with tattoos, and told that THIS was the ‘real’ Trayvon; this was Obama’s son.
Except it wasn’t.
This lack of intellect and abject racism was apparently making some sort of point to waterheads everywhere, and Obama was dubbed ‘The most racially divisive President EVER!”.
Obama was ‘divisive’ for being a black man, with a black man’s life experience, and attempting to articulate a black man’s perspective into a national conversation. The only perspective he can articulate.
In order for him to have not been divisive, he would have had to have seen brown skin as highly problematic in every situation and would have had to always sided with “White America” on every issue.
Donald Trump began his Presidential bid by telling us about the ‘bad hombres’ that come across our border. The rapists, murderers, and drug dealers that apparently comprise the majority of illegal immigrants to this nation.
In this group, he found no ‘very fine people’, mostly just MS-13.
He did however find that there were ‘very fine people on both sides’ in a group chanting “Jews will not replace us!” and the old Nazi slogan of “Blood and Soil!”, representing the belief in a racially defined nation. One of these same ‘fine people’ had run over a group of people with his car and killed Heather Heyer.
He then stoked the flames of racial fear mongering when he repeatedly warned of an ‘invading caravan’ back around the Mid-Term election cycle.
Reaching a madman’s ears, the belief in this ‘invasion’ led to a maniac entering a Synagogue in Pittsburgh and killing a bunch of people because the ‘Jew’ George Soros was paying the caravan to invade, it seems. This type of rhetoric is usually bandied about by the likes of Alex Jones, whom Trump has praised for his “amazing reputation” causing Jones to respond by telling Trump that 90% of his audience support him.
When mail bombs began arriving at the offices of CNN, whom Trump deemed the ‘enemy of the people’, and as well as the homes of those he deemed political adversaries, we were all certainly shocked to see that the bomber’s van was covered in pro-Trump memes, and anti-Liberal propaganda.
Trump then told four brown-skinned female politicians to ‘go back’ to the nations they came from, while three were citizens from birth.
As for the fourth who wasn’t, Trump’s crowd in North Carolina thunderously chanted “SEND HER BACK!” for 13 uninterrupted seconds.
Uh oh….so much for “We just want them to come here the right way!”, huh?
And although all the Republican outlets and online posters immediately went to the defense of this action, Trump, clearly having been told that to maintain alignment with the horrifyingly racist Third Reichian moment would be untenable, went on to claim he wasn’t happy about it.
How’s the bag you were left holding when it wasn’t in his best interest to hold it himself?
Yesterday in El Paso, a maniac like the one in Charlottesville, like the one in Pittsburgh, and like the fucktarded Wile E. Coyote with his ‘ACME Explosives’ in his Trumpmobile, had all of the hate-mongering rhetoric reach his ears.
He drove to where the ‘invaders’ are, and he killed as many as he could. Before his killing spree, reports are that he dropped his manifesto along with this message…typos included…
“FML nervous as hell. This is the actual manifesto. This is going to be so shit but I can’t wait any longer. Do your part and spread this brothers! Of course, only spread it if the attack is successful. I know the media is going to try and frame my incorrectly, but y’all know the truth! I’m probably going to die today. Keep up the good fight!”
The good fight. This is the ‘good’ fight.
20 people are dead because they went to the store.
“They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13.”
A four-month-old baby was massacred by this terrorist.
“This is an invasion of our Country”
A 25-year-old mother of three, Jordan Anchando was buying ‘Back To School’ supplies for her children and died shielding her two-month-old son from gunfire. When her body fell lifeless to the floor, she broke her baby’s bones.
“SEND HER BACK!!!”
But Barack Obama dared to suggest Trayvon Martin could just as well have been his son and attempted to share the black perspective because he’s a black man, so he was the most racially divisive President we’ve ever seen, and a national disgrace.
How the fuck do these people even look themselves in the mirror at this point? Hey, at least they have each other to believe in pushing the idea that this man isn’t an unparalleled mark of shame for our nation’s leadership in the modern era.
There’s a massive problem here.
This isn’t leadership.
This isn’t a man representing all of this nation’s people.
This is a hate monger whose rhetoric will continue to reach deranged minds and the body count will grow.
This isn’t America.
