You know, it's funny. We've watched racist moment after racist moment be excused by sycophants of the Orange Fuhrer. We've watched the Republican Party betray all of it's supposed 'values' for a reality...

Shows We Think You Should Be Watching – ‘Wayne’

by | Feb 11, 2019 | Entertainment News | 0 comments

Let’s face it, we live in the golden age of television content.
There has honestly never been a better time to enjoy *quality* entertainment in series television.
As long as it’s not on any of the ‘Big 3’ networks, that is.

So, we all subscribed and then canceled our ‘YouTube Red‘ accounts once we were finished with the AMAZING ‘Cobra Kai’, but now I’m here to say to you…and in the words of Yoda….“There is another.”, and that other is ‘Wayne’.

The series follows the story of 16-year-old ‘Wayne’ and his 15 year old girlfriend ‘Del’, as they leave their unpleasant lives in Brockton, Massachusetts, and set out on a journey to recover a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that belonged to Wayne’s now deceased father, and is currently in the possession of the antagonistic man that Wayne’s mother walked out on her family for.
The series *feels* like an independent film that just gets better and better as it’s story unravels.
Mark McKenna of ‘Sing Street’ fame, is fantastic as ‘Wayne’, and Clara Bravo who plays ‘Del’, and who looks like a young Valerie Bertinelli is equally great in her role.
Did you just ask “What’s Sing Street?”?!?
Did you really miss one of 2016’s best films?
You sicken me.

Back to ‘Wayne’…
There’s violence. There are laughs. There’s heartfelt drama. There’s weird ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ like characters.
This is simply something you should be watching right now.

But you’re probably watching ‘The Bachelor’ aren’t you?
Now you sicken me even more.

Let’s wipe the slate clean!
Go watch ‘Wayne’.
Think of it as one of those cleanses that people do for their bodies, except this is for when you watch too much awful television when there’s some really solid stuff out there that you’ve chosen to ignore.

Here’s your chance to change all of that.
Episode One is entirely free and sitting here waiting for you to push ‘Play’.

Go Ahead, Call Me Fredo One More Time!

All day I'm seeing people saying that 'Fredo' isn't the 'N Word' for Italians. I disagree. Sure, to the rest of society, and in the big picture...no, it's not the N Word. But to Italians? I said it before...
